Be up there with
the best...
The most important aspect of flight training
and often over looked is the person you will choose to sit next
to you as you begin your discovery of flight. The flight instructor
will be responsible for transferring their knowledge, experience
and skills over to you. Those who choose to learn how to fly initially
model their behavior and approach to each flight similar to the
way their instructor approaches a flight. It is important that you
choose an instructor who shares a passion for flight and teaching.
Top Gun Instructor Pilots are experienced aviation educators who
will mentor you in achieving the goals you set for yourself and
work with you to achieve those goals. They will complement your
strengths and help strengthen your weaknesses.

Top Gun Flight Instructors draw on there experience
in military, commercial and business aviation. They have been accredited
by the National
Association of Flight Instructors as "Master
Instructors". The Master Instructor designation
is a national accreditation recognized by the FAA that is earned by
candidates through a rigorous process of continuing professional activity
and peer review. Much like a flight instructor's certificate, it must
be renewed biennially. This process parallels the continuing education
regimen used by other professionals to enhance their knowledge base
while increasing their professionalism. Simply put, the Master Instructor
designation is a means by which to identify those outstanding aviation
educators, those "Teachers of Flight," who have demonstrated
an ongoing commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service
to the aviation community.

Earning this designation is tantamount to having
the words summa cum laude emblazoned on an instructor's certificate.
These Masters truly represent the crème de la crème
of our industry! Top
Gun Flight Training is proud to have two Master Instructors on staff,
more than any other flight school in Northeastern Ohio.
Top Gun Flight Instructors are Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA)
Safety team representatives commonly referred to as (FAASTeam Representatives).
FAASTeam Representatives are aviation safety volunteers that wish
to work closely with the local FAA office to actively promote safety
through educational events and seminars.

Instructors. The FAA issues the coveted Gold Seal Flight Instructor
certificates only to those instructors who give a lot of flight instruction
and whose clients successfully pass flight exams referred to as check
rides.

that the training you are paying for is up to date, accurate, and
efficient. Inefficient training is expensive, and having to retake
a flight test can cost hundreds of dollars more. You have the right
to expect to be given good training and to pass your flight test first
time. A Gold Seal CFI certificate is the seal of approval the FAA
gives to exceptional instructors a Master Instructor is one who works
to achieve a highest level or instruction possible. Is your instructor
